I'm new to flying and new to building. I have a fair amount of building, welding and machining experience. I would like to build a biplane, my son and I chose the firebolt, in large part because it has a canopy(I live in upstate NY.). Is the firebolt a good choice for a first build and for a low time pilot? Would a different biplane be more suitable? If this is the wrong place for this thread please tell me so I can repost it correctly. Thanks
