I recently picked up a Christen 803 Air/Oil seperator. The unit is clean and looked barely used internally with an inspection camera.
The one exception is that there is some minor pitting on the ball at the top of the unit. This doesn't seem to affect the sealing of the ball.
Is this normal for the Christen units or cause for either fixing or not using it? Are there any ways to polish the ball in place?
