Quite some time ago I joined this site because I wanted to do a Bipe, I was looking at the Zipster at the time, but a fter some much heated and sometimes controversial discussions that project was abandoned. About a year ago my buddy and I purchased a Chuckbird Bipe off of Ebay and have spent the last year rebuilding it. It is ready to go to the airport for final assembly and testing but the weather has turned against us. I don't really feel much like assembling wings and doing rigging in 20 degree weather or doing taxi tests in 4" of snow or test flying an open cockpit plane in 20 degree weather either, call me a wuss if you like. It has been a fun year. this is what the plane looked like 20+ years ago
