Forum-

I am completing a semi-restoration on a Pitts S1S. Everything was updated aside from fabric and frame tubes aft of the seat. The little project is sparkling aside from the aforementioned aft of the seat area.

From best I can tell, it has never been cleaned. Dust bunnies have turned into grease-fortified dust gorillas.

As the area is not possible to reach by hand - and the extent of grease/dirt is quite extreme - any advice on how to clean this area would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried a light pressure washing?Cleaning chemicals, etc?
