I have been working on my rudder pedal and seat placement this week and have some concerns over comfort and pedal angle in the front pit. I'd like to get a rough idea of where i stand compared to the "average" bipe. Pitts/Bolt/WACO...whatever...i'm going togo have a look at the Stearman this week.
Would some of you give me an idea of the following.

Front cockpit length firewall to seatback? or rough equivelent.
Seat Bottom height above floorboard? front/rear
Angle of recline?
height of rudder bar and/or brake pedalabove floor?

I have a surplus of room in the back pit and not much up front. I'm trying to decide whether to
1)keep what i have
2) move the front seat back a bit
3) modify the firewall for more front seat legroom

The main obstacle is the comfortable angle of the brake/rudder pedal (one-piece) in the front pit. Will be a lot easier once i see what is roughly standard.

Thanks ...Dan
