    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I recently made this seat back using a vacuum bagging technique. Is there anything I could have done differently to eliminate the imperfections on the backside of the plate? (Pic 2). I made sure all the plastic layers were as flat as possible but you can still see marks from when the material scrunch up under vacuum.

Purely cosmetic I know, and I can always sand it down just trying to refine my skills.
