Hi,

My son's laptop had a wierd occurance that I wonder if anyone can help us out with. He was actively using it, when the screen flickered and the computer rebooted, or he had to restart it, I'm not sure. Anyway, he is left with an appropriately full memory, but the files that he had are no longer displayed. This includes muisc, pictures, word files. The OS is windows7. I imagine that he got some malware or virus. We tried to restore to a few days before this happened with no luck. Again, the memory looks like everything is still there, but it can not be found.

If you couldn't tell, I really don't know anything about computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
larry
