Gents,

I am in the process of covering the lower wings and they have the full Skybolt Bow. I did the underside of a lower wing and got to what I was dreading....the basket full of extra fabric and folds. With lots of patience, I got that area shrunk and smooth with no wrinkles. But, I am concerned that the when I face the same issue on the Top of the lower wing that the fabric in place might not permit me to remove all the wrinkles and folds as well.
I am pondering the idea of just taking the top layer along the rear of the front spar (along the trailing side of the LE material) stopping it at the last rib before the bow and cutting it OB on a 45 toward the LE of the wing to match up with bow, thereby avoiding that troublesome area. I have full LE overlap elsewhere.
I see where AcroBret did something along those lines from looking at his pics online. Anyone else solve (avoid) this issue? I would be interested in learning of options.
Thanks in advance.
Dave
