The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web.

    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Curtis Pitts

90% of my internet referencing happens on Wikipedia. It represents to me the very best ideals of the web: it's free, it's democratic and anyone can contribute or edit. If you have achieved even the most modest fame there is a fair chance there is a Wikipedia entry under your name. I really had expected Curtis to have a bio every bit is extensive as was his contribution to aerobatics. But alas the entry above is about 75 words. Given that this year our little biplane and the oracle who designed it will get some extra attention, I think the world deserves to know more about him, much more, than Wikipedia currently provides. I'd give it a go but I know so little about Curtis that I would manage little more than to plagiarize Budd Davission.
