I've bought one of those hole saw tubing jigs for cutting the shapes for fit up of parts to be welded. It never even occurred to me that the smallest hole saw available was 9/16" I know back in the olden days most of you ancient aviators used grinders with wheels shaped to cut your tubing radii.
Is there a more high tech way to do this for 1/2" and 3/8" tubing without going shopping for a Bridgeport? I was looking at carbide burs on McMaster Carr......I have a pretty good drill press and a decent vice for it. I dunno.
I'm making a new seat for the SA-100 here in a bit and trying to get tooled up reasonably.
