This is the first of two butt ribs that will go onto the spar. I decided to glue the 1/16 plywood on at the same time everything else was glued up. I will probably change this procedure on the second butt rib so I only glue the internal parts first then glue the plywood on after.

I'm going to figure out how to use the epoxy varnish and start sealing the ribs. I imagine the first coat will have to be pretty thin to make sure there's good penetration. I'm wondering if I'll need to use 2 coats??
