Greetings, all. After 8 months of rib building and spar measuring, I have all of the ribs glued on my lower "D" model wings and I'm about to drill the drag/anti-drag wire holes. The plans call for the holes to be offset from the centerline in order to "stack" them where they cross.

The note says to drill one hole 1/8 inch above the spar centerline and the other 1/8 below. Now, unless I am missing something stupidly simple (and most likely I am), would not two 3/16 inch wires need more than 1/4 inch offset...?

Thanks,
