Forgive my ignorance please i did not build the plane. I have an eaa biplane i was wanting to take the landing gear off to do some axle work on. My question is how do i go about supporting the plane so i can take the gear off? I have an engine hoist but thought that would be too much stress on the engine mounts. Do i make padded table of sorts and use the bottom wings sitting on top of the padded table? I was concerned about damage to the fabric/ paint and or ribs by doing that. Suggestion would be appreciated
