    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I searched the forum but most discussions are old enough I thought there may be new information or products available. My cable driven tach cable broke twice in the 32 flight hours I've had this Skybolt so I want to get away from that 93 1/2" flexible cable and install something electronic. I'm open to suggestions and prefer something with a needle. I'm not a big fan of digits though those seem to be the most reasonably priced.
