I have seen the aluminum access panel a member used to enable the elevator horn to make it past the fabric to meet its mating elevator horn inserted from the opposite side. Has anyone used any other method to enable assembly after covering? In looking at Steen's yellow Skybolt photos, I could not see any evidence of a removable panel or access/inspection hole. Even if the covering was finished after assembly, It would seem that a transparent panel or inspection port would be nice to enable pre-flighting of the horn and rod end.
Ideas/input?
