    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Folks: The feedback has been wonderful on the latex paint and the Sterba prop questions. I'm painting with latex and ordered a prop from Ed Sterba.

Now...a new question: I'm assembling the tail feathers and I'm wondering what the suggested elevator travel might be? I'm at about 15° full up and about 22° full down using the horizontal stab as the reference. Is this in the ball park? I guess I'd like to see a bit more up authority just to facilitate a more positive taxi if nothing else.

Thanks,
Sarpy Sam
