    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

A pre-flight heads up item and annual check point. On our Bill Harvey build Classic (N298H) annual we found a cracked engine baffel adjacent to the oil cooler. Our baffel system appears to be sometihng from Van's originally . The part supporting the oil cooler is a weak spot. Thanks to our fearless leader Pres. Orear We now have a modified bracket and a support arm for better support and vibration dampening. A series of photos is attached. Yes, the plug wires are just fed through the back and have not been properly set up. Sorry for having them in the way.
