    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I am not much of a tech head when it comes to engines, but I would like some opinions on what maybe causing the IO-360A1A? (carby)in the S1-S that I fly, to surge briefly while flying aerobatics? It has only started doing this and only on some flights.
The cowls are off and itsgetting looked at now.

It first happened when I was on the 45deg upline doing multiple rolls, and today it happenon 45degdown line after a 1/2 neg snap.

Anyonegot any ideas?Edited by: aeroz_z
