    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I need to support/hang rear of exhaust pipes. The old starduster newsletter show something like this several times. A pigtail of .090 ss weld rod. This looks simpler than rods+fuel line+hose clamps that rv guys seem to like.

My question-did the pigtail fall out of favor because they fail, or some other reason. Anyone (D…. ……R or anyone else) have any experience with these?

Thanks. Chris
