I'm in a group who run a Steen Skybolt in the UK. We have has problems with the exhaust system cracking up (literally). I had a flight over the week-end where one side cracked away and fell into the engine compartment. Our engineer reckons that the exhaust system was home grown by the original builder and is too heavy.

Although I can't find it on their site, I understand that Steen do their own exhaust kit? Is that right?

Does anyone else have any ideas on this?

cheers
