Hey guys. I'm in the process of building my lower ailerons and got to thinking today... (probably not a good idea!) I am extending my ailerons by one bay and wavering back and forth on where to put the third hinge. My initial plan was to just add the third hinge in the extended bay but I started wondering if that would look weird. The other option would put the third hinge inline with the I-strut which I know will cause problems if not lined up properly. So I am thinking that I will build the ailerons without the ply doublers, false ribs and top sheeting. When I get to the rigging stage, I can place the hinge exactly where it needs to be behind the I-strut. It just seems to me that it would look cleaner with three equally spaced hinges. Does this sound like it's in left field somewhere? Am I missing something? As always, thanks for the help. Hope everyones projects are going well!

Kevin
