I have recently aquired another S-1 project, but only a fuselage. The fuselage seems to be a aerotek built fuselage. Literally everything on the fuselage has a factory stamp, even down to the little vents for the cockpit. Here's the kicker, the fellow I bought it from purchased it directly from aerotek in 82, along with sheet metal, tail, panel, the whole 9 yards, but he claims that it came out of the jig with modifications for spring gear, which it has now. The tubing clusters are slightly different to any plans I've seen for the spring gear mod. I'll post pictures below. Has anybody heard of any other factory built S-1E kits with spring gear? It was never a certified airplane, the airplane only tacked up 49 hours TT before the owner took the 200hp 360 off of the airplane and stuck it on a Skybolt. It had a set of stewert light wings on the airframe with symmetrical ailerons but they wound up on another airplane after it was parked in 87. I plan on stripping it completely down and rebuilding it with a set of Raven wings that I will be building. I'm looking for suggestions to if I should make any changes to the "gear box".

Sorry for any inverted or sideways pictures, posting from my phone.
