    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have been watching this site for a year or so. I am John and live on Virginia's Northern Neck. I have a hangar on a small grass field.
I purchased a Pitts S-1C and S-1S from a salvor. Both have similar damage from being landed in a drift. The S has a Lyc 0-320 which I will install on the C. The C engine was sold before I found it. It had a 180 hp. I will be looking for advice to repair and fly these two planes. Also, two sets of gear legs. Thanks , John H.
