I installed the fiberglass seat that Aircraft Spruce sells in my Acro Sport. It allows you to sit a bit lower in the airplane and it is more comfortable without padding than the the simple slab seats are with padding. I used Epoxy resin and flox to bed the seat to the existing seat frame and it has steel strapping underneath that contours to the seat. The fiberglass seat is lighter than the wood frames I had before.
