    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Years ago I use to fly my Pitts around with a guy who had just about everything he wanted, and of course I wanted that stuff also. Well about that time, my wife wanted new dinning furniture, and because my buddy also drove a Porsche to the airport I wanted one also. He found me one and said he would help me
convince my wife I needed a Porsche to scratch that mid life crisis coming on.
He came to my house in his Porsche and this was his argument to my wife.
"You know Janie, not one of those dinning room chairs is going to corner as well as that red Porsche Gonzo is looking at" Needless to say we were both run out of the house and the matter never came again. I eventually I got my way
after cornering in those chairs many a Thanksgiving and Christmas! Picture
as proof.
