    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

After a year on the waiting list I'm moving into a T-hangar at Hayward Executive this month. We'll be trailering my S-1S down from my dad's place. Guess I need to build a cradle for the wings that are currently hanging on carpet straps.

It's an exciting moment...the rebuild of this airplane can finally get started!

I'm planning to tear down the fuselage and have the frame blasted, inspected, and painted.

Here's the work list:
New fuel system with electric boost pump
New wiring and panel
Wolf spring gear
New wheels and brakes.
New spring rod tailwheel
IRAN wing structure and fittings
IRAN flight control linkages
New AN hardware (already removed a few Home Depot bolts...)
Rebuild O-360
Recover
Paint

Looking forward to it, and sharing the experience here.
