Any advice?

I'm wondering whats the best way to go about this? I've never owned a plane before. My grandfather has had several but that was awhile back and many things have changed.

So what should I look out for? Who is the best place to use?

My credit union will only do a personal loan. They don't finance airplanes. I'm looking for a skybolt from 80's or so that is in the price range of 30k-40k.

Thanks!
