Hi,

I am getting an order together to make up some rubber donuts for the Charger landing gear found on many Firebolts.

There has been some discussion about softening up the landing gear a little. By replacing SOME of the 60A durometer donuts with 50A, the though is that it will create a dual rate spring on the gear leg.

I got a quote for the 50A durometer donuts from www.polyprod.com

36 pcs, 1" x 1.25 ID x 3 OD, 50A, black polyurethane tube.= $8.62 ea. 7-10 days

$310.32 + shipping

I figure we would each try out 4 pcs (1-2 old style replaced per gear leg). 4 X $8.62 each = $34.48 each plus shipping.

Minimum length is 36"... enough to do 9 airplanes.

Is anyone interested in buying a set of 4? Please PM me.

-Glenn
