I don't know what to do about this. I've been working on figuring out if a spacer can be made for my McCauley constant speed prop. Three is 3 inches between the continental IO-520D engine crankshaft flange and the back plate of the spinner. Is it possible to have a spacer on a constant speed propeller? If not, I would have to redesign the firebolt nose bowl and cut it down by 3 inches!
