    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hello to the group. Been distracted from working on the Skybolt for quite a while . Didn't like the workmanship so I walked away . Finally came to terms and got the 4" grinder out and went a few steps backwards. The problem was with the firewall dimensions and it how it was going to blend into the sheet metal surrounding the fuel tank station . It's interesting how a flaw or error can become amplified with each additional step. That said I'm making my second firewall , any comments or suggestions on the sheet metal itself?
Plans rec 26 gauge SS

thank you
