    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I had a tire go flat after turning off the runway today. I had to lift the axle with a 4x4 and 2x4 (fulcrum) and put a furniture dolly and a piece of plywood under the tire to drag it back to my hanger. It was one of those special days...
My tires are good, I had a tube go bad. Any suggestions on purchasing a new tube. Is there anything special about a 500-5 tube or just get anything? I was shocked at the prices I found on Spruce and Desser.
