    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Greetings Sun Lovers:
I have a A&P/IA friend who is normal in most every way but who insists that there are no airworthy airplanes in the state of Florida. I find this attitude remarkable simple minded, or at least short sighted on it's face, and with most of the airplanes in the country located there, depressing as well. We've gone round and round about it but alas; he's done thinking about it you know? In any case there is a nice looking Starduster II sitting a few miles inland from Tampa Bay that sure seems like it's worth looking at by one or another of you who live out that way.

I post this as a public service only. I do not own this airplane and don't know the owner but he's apparently hurting so there you go.
