    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I am relatively new to this forum BUT... I just spent 2 years restoring my dream plane a Starduster Too. Fixed the gear geometry problem. Got rid of the Maule tailwheel. Rebuilt the ground looped left wing and fixed the frame tubes. Lots of other little projects later I have now a great flying plane. So... I want to fly from my base in California to someplace on the east coast and back next summer for my 50th birthday present to myself. I am going to go from here Chico, Ca to Oshkosh to start and then??? I have no ideas. So I was hoping some of you from the mid-west and east could help with great airports to visit and places to see. Maybe even meet a few of you nice folks. Any help would be appreciated.
