Just got a diagnosis that i have parkinsons disease - neurologist says i cannot fly any more

Curious what experience others have had

Checked with AOPA Medical and they said that parkinsons does not necessarily prevent one from flying

I'm currently flying under basic med - single engine land

Any ideas or experience would be appreciated
