I'm in the process of rigging and tensioning my flying and landing wires. I have been told I need to put one "stop" nut on what I'll call the compression side of the wire and two nuts (one to jam) on the tension side. On some of my wires I can't use the compression nut and I see no need for it. Both the flying and landing wires are directing the load through the I strut and I see no reason for the compression or wire side of the nut. Can anybody help with this? Thanks!
