I've had some dramas with my flying wires and had to replace them.

see my blog - http://flyingantonline.wordpress.com/category/maintainence/

My S1 has 5/16th wires with clevis at both ends like an S2. I have two questions;

My new flying wires need to be cut about .25inch at each end, how do you cut these without ruining them?

How tight does the nut on the spar through bolt on the top wing that the top wing clevis attaches to have to be?

I have a great mechanic working on it who will do a nice job but I was curious what others thought.

Cheers
