I promise, that the last question for tonight :)
The spars are drilled at 0.750" for the flying wire shaft. However the corresponding alum plate is (on the plans) to be drilled at 0.751 / 0.755...I'm assuming that it does mean that the alum plate are just there to protect the spar from the collar that refrain the shaft from sliding, so they should NOT touch the shaft itself, hence the greater diameter.Is that assumption right, or does the alum plate have to be drilled and reamed in order to have a tight fit between them and the shaft ?
