I am a new "bolt" owner and new to biplanes. I have about 2 hours in my purchased skybolt and I noticed that the left wing flying wires have a definite oscillation at cruise speed. I noticed this on my 45 minute delivery flight and the aircraft is now tucked away for the winter (the joys of being Canadian).
Has anyone else experienced this problem? The previous owner had the wings off for a repaint. Is this just perhaps a tension problem? the Right side is steady as a rock. I noticed it at around 120 kts.
ThanksHappy Holidays to all
