    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have an Lyc Engine that came to my shop for top overhaul. Owner lost interest in RV-8 project. In the process of completing the assembly. Bottom end is like new. Still had the lubriplate coating. Completed the dia check, all within new tolerance. Will be a tight engine. It has the light flange, so would stick with a wood prop. Already set up for inverted oil. Cylinders will be installed next week, waiting on new rod bolts and nuts. If anyone is interested, PM me. I have no vested interest, selling for customer.
