Hi all,

Going through the POH that came with my plane and reviewing other copies as well to make up the checklist procedures I'll be using.

I'm curious to hear opinions about what to do with the canopy in an emergency where an off-airport landing will be made without power. Do you jettison it or leave it in place? Will a tilting 2-place canopy even break away from the plane at only 85 mph or will it flop around and make matters worse??

Thanks in advance for the input. :)
