Fresh air respirator?

Do any of you have expirence with the HobyAir 1 fresh air respirator? In the past I have always used the 3M automotive respirators but everything I read indicates a fresh air supply should be used with any paint that has a THANE at the end. I'm not using Stewarts and will likely go the PF-aerothane route or maybe the American Champion system so was considering making the investment.
