So, I've got the factory fuel cap on my S2B with the lever that you crank down. I turn the screw action so that it is nearly impossible for me to push the lever down to the locked position (I have to put a ton of force on it), but still, I can wiggle the fuel cap out! I bought a new fuel cap from Aviat ($90) and it's the same. It seems like the rubber part isn't really expanding all that much when you crank down that lever arm.

So...

I bought a turn-tite fuel cap with the rotating t-handle on top instead of the lever. It absolutely stays in place - the rubber part definitely expands as the screw squeezes it down. The Pitts S2C I used to rent had this same fuel cap. Is there any reason I should be wary of the turn-tite style?

thanks guys!
