We recently ordered some 5052-0 tubing to replace some fuel line for our J-5 Cub and while at it, I ordered some tubing to make up our Skybolt fuel lines from the wing tank and main tank to the fuel selector valve and from there to the firewall.
The Cub uses 1/2" fuel line for it's thirsty 75HP Continental (gravity flow). I was convinced that the Skybolt requires 3/8" fuel line since the fittings at the wing tank and the fittings on the fuel selector are only 6's. Did I order the right tubing? Is 3/8" X .032 large enough for a fuel injected 540? What is everyone else using for a similar engine?

cheers,
Jim
