Hi everyone,
I've seen this topic discussed already sadly nothing that would resolve my issue, so I hope you won't mind my asking...
I have a certified S1S, with a (far less certified I guess, picture attached in case anyone knows that model?) header tank. The vent system looks quite as per Aviat plans, even if the tubing leaving the top of the main tank could go a bit further forward before heading down (my next job).
I have tried blowing into the vent, and couldn't identify any air leak into the system.
In flight, any vertical or sustained left knife edge will make my vent spray a continuous very significant amount of fuel.
Any idea ? Beside rerouting the tubing a bit better (which I don't expect to solve the whole issue), I tend to suspect the header installation as it's non standard, but even so, if there is no air entering, I don't understand how I can have fuel coming out !?
