    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Looking through my pile of crap and found I've got five(!) old INOP G-meters. I opened some of them to see if it was an easy fix and found that three of them had broken thread attached to the sliding weight. Has anyone tried to fix this themselves and give me a pointer or two or is there a guy or a shop that might fix these for me that you might recommend?

Thanks in advance,
Steve near Chicago
