This XL sized HGU-55/P has never been used. Sort of a custom Grey paint applied to the normal grey plastic. Looks really good. It's a lightweight helmet designed for the high-g combat environment of the Air Force F-15 and F-16 but suitable for our planes. Its shell is trimmed wider and higher at the eyes for improved vision and higher on the sides and back for easier head movement. Comes with a donor Dave Clark Headset to set the helmet up for GA use. Included is the Impact-resistant tinted polycarbonate lense (with leather cover) that screens out harmful ultraviolet sunlight. According to Gentex website, XL is for head circumference over 23 and 7/8" and head length (whatever that means) of 8 and 7/8"
