anyone here dealing with glaucoma in respect to their FAA physicals? eye doc used the word for the first time. still 20/20 (corrected) and field of view tests are good. I never checked that block on the FAA form before. what is this going to entail? going to be special issuance from FAA or will my AME still be able to issue the 3rd class (with I assume paperwork from my eye doc)? how big PIA is this going to be with the feds? and yes, I have considered just going light sport before I am denied, suspended, or revoked. would like to keep 3rd class as long as I am able. and I am very pessimistic about any meaningful change that would benefit me in the NPRM or that the pending legislation will ever get passed. thanks
