I am currently waiting for the plans to come through for an AS2. However, I want to be sure that I have selected the right aeroplane to build so am asking a new question here. Most of my flying, up until some years ago, was done in a really nice DHC1 Chipmunk and I absolutely love the handling of that lovely girl. I am about to build something for myself now and would really like to have something that has similar light and precise handling. The stick forces on the chippy were perfect - people who also fly warbirds like spitfires often say the Chippy is like a dramatically underpowered Spit' in that the handling is just what you would like and you never have to fight it.My question here is simple: am I going in the right direction with the Acrosport or will I be disappointed with the handling - I want to fly, not to force an unwilling beast around in the air. I don't want to have to fight the controls but I don't mind a craft that can bite.Ideas and comments would be really appreciated as this is quite a big adventure that I am going into.
Cheers
