We converted the Grove brakes to a Beringer last week and the old setup is for sale. A taildragger with a locking tail wheel on a long taxiway airport just needs more brakes. Although Beringer's went on ok, some notes. They moved the caliper down close to the earth. I am not sure it will survive a flat tire. The axle adapter is improperly drilled and I had to correct it with the usual response of "no one has said anything before" even though I can show the error of the drawing and the listed shouldered bolt size. I think I should have installed the tire air pressure monitor system because the notes on it say the tubeless tires leaking modest amounts of air is ok. I have no data on it yet as I will recheck air pressure on the one week date unless something looks off.
It is Grove Main wheel 5 inch 50-201 (https://www.groveaircraft.com/5series.html) which lists for 2199. I have the adapter for a gear leg setup, 2 extra sets of pads, extra caliper seals, felt bearing seals, bearing repacker. Comes with flight special tires and Michelin inner tubes (these are less than a year old). The tires are still good. It was setup for RV4 gear legs so I have the axle adapter and bolt. I would like 1700.00
