Hi all,
I have been lurking here for awhile and finally joined last year
. You guys have a great site and I have learned a lot already.
I am retiring this year after 39 years of flying for the Army. I'll probably still fly for somebody but it will be local rather than some of the exotic destinations we go to these days.
I have been thinking of building another airplane for quite awhile and had even decided on an RV and purchased the preview plans set for an RV7. After thinking about what I really want an airplane for and then the type of airplane best suited for it I have happily reset my sights on a Skybolt. I am looking forward to the build and hope to get enough life out of the way to start this year.
It's going to be a great year.
